Hi Marie! I have to confess, saying to spend > $100 is for ordinary folk like myself living in metropolitan areas that are not lobster ports. You can get lobster for much cheaper if you live in an area where lobsters are farmed abundantly, like in Tassie and WA! I just can’t endorse buying the cheap imported lobsters from overseas because they really are very poor quality with little to no lobster flavour and often the flesh is weirdly mushy. I don’t say this lightly, I have bought and tried a lot over the years, and fortunate enough to compare to freshly caught both here and when travelling overseas. I just don’t want people to be disappointed on Christmas Day!! N x
