Was looking for a nice sauce recipe. Had no intention of double frying but still used the marinade. It was absolutely delicious. I think the secret ingredient is no secret, it’s the chopped ginger, boy is that nice. Crunchy and full of flavour. Had leftovers tonight reheated in the microwave. I think It was even better than the first night. I didn’t have any pineapple pieces so I used crushed pineapple. Didn’t look as pretty but tasted fine. Used up the juice in the sauce then topped up with a wee bit of water. I don’t like too sweet and I didn’t find this too sweet. Will definitely make again.

Another wonderful recipe that didn’t disappoint. Made a double batch to have some freezer meals ready for a busy week. It was difficult not to eat it all in one sitting. Delish!

I’ve tried so many sweet & sour pork recipes that I’ve lost count. This was wonderful. I live in a small isolated town with one grocery store. I couldn’t get fresh ginger or garlic (I know!) but this turned out far better than it should have. Thank you for such a deliciously forgiving recipe.

I have to hold it as long as I can so they don’t get a “brain” freeze — HAPPY SUNDAY
