I’m an avid fan of yours Nagi, so when I wanted to try my hand at beef pho it was your site I immediately went to first.
My daughter had take away beef pho last night, we only have one Vietnamese restaurant in our little town. She enjoyed it but it was pretty one dimensional.
So I gave your recipe a whirl tonight. It was a winner, no one dimension here. Lots of complex flavour, not too salty.
As someone who loves a one pot dinner could this recipe be used in a pressure cooker? Thanks for the inspiration.

OMG. I have some left over rice noodles from making pansit (Filipino) for my son’s belated birthday get together. I made this recipe modified as I did not have all the ingredients. It’s so delicious, I had two servings, I can’t wait to make the full recipe.

Great I used 1.5 lbs of chicken wings and 2 lbs of beef short rib
And I couldn’t find brisket so I subbed with a half pound of flank steak and also included a daikon radish in the broth and I also added some fennel seeds along with the other spices, and to make the spices come out easier when you’re done wrap them up in cheesecloth so you can take it out easier. Also, this is not enough time to cook good broth I would let it go for five hours at minimum

Made a chicken version of this using a chicken carcass and a whole fresh chicken. Otherwise followed the recipe. Very delicious thank you!
